Updated: Blurred the center highlight.

Now that my sidebar is just about complete and I am moving on to a new project, it is time to release my own personal version of the Windows Vista Glass.

I know it has been done over and over, but I have given this *.PSD my strictest attention to detail, as with everything I make.

The preview image shows an example using my glass, and the glass itself.

This file, among other things, features its own separate color tint layer and is accurate with both dark and light wallpapers/backgrounds.

IMPORTANT: The sequence of each layer is paramount! Do not alter their sequencing.

As always, please give credit if you use this in a project=).

yay i love this glas effects but i dont like this cutted part under the white fade you know? it should be faded a bit either

The white edge mimics the real Windows Vista glass (see the example). If you want to blur the edge to be less intense, by all means. =)

I blurred the wallpaper to show that it is just about 100% accurate. Without the blur it looks a bit off, but still acceptable.

If you look closely on the vista window glass, it's pretty much a straight line without blur. The effect just looks jolting in my .psd because there's no actual window within the glass.
